"Love"
John 15:13 (KJV)
13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
There has never been a more genuine expression of Love than the demonstration given on the cross.
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God's amazing love for us was demonstrated on the cross, while we were still undeserving and unworthy. You may feel that no one would ever care for you but the truth is that from the time you were born, you were loved. In spite of your mistakes and shortcomings and the darkest secrets that you feel no one should ever know about. God knows about them and allowed his son to endure a brutal beating to pay a debt for them. His love for you is unmerited and yet his love for you is greater than words can express. If you feel no one cares maybe you should consider talking to the one who gave himself for you!
